» Come to our information table at Cates Crawl, the Convocation Fair, and other NC State sponsored functions.
» Chat with us online via Facebook and Twitter. We'd love to hear from you!
Step 2: Enhance
Alright, now that you've embraced us with open arms, it's time to offer your feedback, voice your opinions, and lend us a helping hand.
» Join one of our seven committees. Check out the respective page for information on meeting dates and times.
» Attend a student inquiries and ideas meeting held one hour before UAB general body meetings.
» Volunteer at one of our major events.
Step 3: Enjoy
Even while embracing and enhancing UAB, you can enjoy all that it has to offer. The more you participate, the more you are rewarded. Better your college experience, strengthen your leadership and professional skills.

Embrace! Enhance! Enjoy UAB!
"Embrace! Enhance! Enjoy UAB!" is the Union Activities Board's new slogan. The slogan highlights the three ways you can get involved with the Union Activities Board. You can embrace the UAB by telling your friends about upcoming events, whether it be in person or online using Facebook's event invites. Or, enhance the UAB by joining a committee and using your creative ideas to serve the entire NC State campus. Last, but certainly not least, enjoy the UAB by attending our fun and exciting activities! But who's stopping you from doing all three?
UAB was created for the students by the students, and we, the Union Activities Board, would like to invite you to Embrace! Enhance! Enjoy UAB! with us. Meeting times for each committee can be found under the Committee link above or on UAB's Google calendar featured under the Events Schedule link.
In fact, you can start implementing our new slogan by volunteering your time and efforts at one of our biggest events of the year: Friday Fest. Simply log onto Facebook, stop by the UAB Fan page, and click on the volunteerspot/com link. There you can sign up to volunteer, get a free t-shirt and a chance to win a prize drawing. Of course, by volunteering, you'll also enjoy all of the fun — great music, delicious food, exciting games and more — that Friday Fest has to offer along with us. You don't want to miss out!
